We paired this amazing stone with two colorless Old European Cut diamonds.
The side diamonds are newly cut, and perfectly symmetrcial - no abrasions or chips like true antiques. They provide a lovely contrast to the center diamond.
The setting is beautifully done. The millgrain edging is perfection! Truly a stunning - and yet very comfortable to wear - ring!
Here is a great example of a very strong color in fancy intense - about 80% of the way to vivid yellow.
I love the color of this stone - it would cost at least 50% more if it was SI1 or better.
OK, so let's tackle the I1 aspect. It is an I1, but not an "offensive" one. There is absolutely zero black carbon. The feather is small, and in a position which does not impact light performance or structure.
