Here's an amazing ring. It features 3, recently cut, antique style cushion diamonds. The center diamond is a hidden treasure I dug up over at my buddy's office. I fell in love with this one at first sight.
It's so rare to find a stone cut like this, in this color.
The cushion brilliant facet pattern ostensibly looks antique. However, modern precision is evident in the symmetrical appearance.
My friend was able to take a relatively shallow piece of rough to craft this stone. Therefore we have a 1.29ct that looks like a 1.60ct. There's no penalty for the depth.
In bright lighting, the color is super evident. Even in dim lighting, there's fire and flashes.
PS - my buddy sent it for a "color only" GIA report, anticipating that he wasn't going to get Fancy Light Yellow.
