2.06cts Oval Brilliant Emerald Earrings

As a photographer, emeralds are so hard to figure out. I had a thought tonight. Looking at this pair in dim, indoor nighttime lighting, these Colombian Emeralds practically glow green.

The bright lighting that diamonds seem to love is a total "buzzkill of life" in the case of many emeralds and the lens. Hit an emerald with enough lighting for the intense close-ups needed to illustrate the details and the color changes. You'd really never be looking at them in this intensity of lighting under normal circumstances.

In the pictures of this pair, the stones show obvious "gardens". In normal lighting, they are just gorgeous, remarkably lively green. The green is really the "perfect" shade for my eyes- not too light nor dark.

They were quite obviously cut to match. Both are beautifully cut.

The colorless diamonds, extremely well cut, dazzle bright white and make the green even more vivid.

The custom made platinum earrings are delish as well.
