Here's a great example of how we do things differently around here. We made this ring as a special order. When our client received it, it was not their cup of tea. It happens.

Me? I love the ring. We did what we needed to do to make sure our client was totally satisfied - they exchanged for a larger diamond.

We always look at custom work from the client's standpoint. It really sucks when you have something custom made and you're stuck if you don't like the way it looks when it arrives. I'm not even thinking about obviously defective things - any maker should correct a defect - even on a custom made ring.

I'm talking about a case where a client does not feel the ring looks like the picture they had in their mind. Where it's a matter of taste. There's nothing "wrong" with this ring, but I can totally understand that our client thought it would look different.

Anyway, here's this really nice "rope" ring. The ring is substantial and I like the texture, as it is. If the person who buys this ring wants us to smooth the edge - comfort fit, as it were - we can do that. Now it has a very cool texture. Stylish 6 prong platinum head.
