Some numbskull got the order wrong.

We oughta fire that guy, except if I fire myself, I'll be so bored.

See, we were uspposted to make a pair of earrings in 18kt yellow gold. All 18kt yellow gold, which is unusual, because the diamonds in the halo are also colorless.

Normally we would make the earrings in white metal, and use yellow gold prongs.
