Sometimes simplicity is the best way to showcase a diamond!
We chose a simple platinum solitaire for this ring. It does have some lovely details where the head meets the shank.
The shank is 1.6mm wide. Delicate in look to help make the diamond stand out, and yet sturdy enough for wear.
We do not advertise "We buy Diamonds" on or site, but we will always consider a purchase of a diamond in trade for one of ours, or a new ring.
Generally, when diamonds are shipped to us in trade, we liquidate them - selling to one of our cutters, at a very low price. The reason we have to do that is because a lot of the diamonds that come to us are not up to the standards we have set for the site.
When I saw this diamond, I was blown away. I knew I'd never sell it back to our cutters - I'd be proud to offer it on the site. I love a well cut colorless Radiant, and they are so rare. The cut on this stone is fantastic. Great life, the stone is lively. The sparkle is consistent and even across the top of the stone. The weight distribution is such that the stone looks like many 1.50ct stones one the market, in terms of size to the eye.
