Here's a faint blue Marquise Lab Diamond. Not for nothing... f this was an Earth Mined Diamond with this color it could easily be $75k
Due to the manner in which this diamond was grown, the color is "baked in". Boron in the HPHT growth chamber causes faint blue- to vying degrees.
This is much different than treated blue diamonds.
I'd say GIA would grade this diamond Light Blue - one shade lighter than Fancy Light Blue.
Subtle yet apparent.
The amazing cut of this marquise capitalizes on the color so well! The stone is bright throughout. Almost a perfect 2:1 ratio. Great shape for marquise lovers.
