Some of you who watch the Diamonds by Lauren site (thank you - you know who you are) may have noticed this listing in "production mode" for a long time.
Well, the truth is, our rings don't look like they do by accident. We make a lot of rings, but we never "mass produce" any of them. Each piece is a custom made creation.
In the case of this ring, and this diamond - it was extremely tough getting the halo just right. If you notice, the pear shape sits inside the halo, but just inside.
Anyway, the stone itself presented a challenge because of the voluptuous shape. We re-made the halo on this ring three times until I was satisfied.
This time they nailed it! A lovely well priced hand forged ring - claw prongs. The pave looks amazing. The pave style is a "U" cut. It is incredibly beautiful as well. The diamonds appear to float.
It's also proved to be the most durable micro pave method for us over the years. This style of ring has proven to be very durable for micro pave.
